My 1960s documentary/teenage odyssey – is now complete, revised and uploaded. It is a book in two parts – 150 “Taunton Black” charcoal drawings, with rough-book sketches, street fashions and poetry, created while at school – the early awakening of a spiritual quest.
It is published here, as two blogs linked together. Each contains about 10 posts/chapters.

Hi Jane – I love the way you draw. You put so much life energy in it! What an interesting and exciting time this period of life must have been for you. I know it was for me… ;=) Thank you, Steve
Yes Steve, it was an exciting period for all our generation! In my case a lot of teenage angst also – par for the course – the relief from it was in drawing!
What a lovely read and a fascinating social comment. Your pictures capture the period perfectly. A great time to be growing up.
I don’t know why I haven’t come across this post before – except that it goes back quite a few years – well before I started blogging. Very remiss of me! I’ll read the next part later.
Thank you so much for visiting, Clive, and for all your support generally. These drawings and poems were my “first fruit” as an artist! Yes I feel it does capture the period. Enjoy!
